Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Diesel Mechanic/ EME must have trade test certificate
Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience
Minimum of 5 years Auto Electrical experience
Minimum of 5 years Hydraulic experience
Excellent communication shills both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving skills, (Trouble shooting)
Initiative
Results, action and deadline oriented, sense of urgency, attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and rapidly changing needs
Computer literate
Valid passport
Must have at the very least a hospital plan in RSA
Position Purpose
Fault finding, maintaining and repairing of all vehicles with the view of achieving optimal utilization of vehicles.
Responsibilities
Planning of material and equipment required for all maintenance
Fault finding, maintenance and repair of all vehicles
Remove, strip and overhaul all defective components
Servicing of vehicles
Preventative maintenance
Determine causes of operating errors and problem solving
Auto electrical work on vehicles
Hydraulic workings on vehicles
Carry out any other assigned tasks
Ensure compliance to Heath & Safety regulations
