Key Performance areas:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with accounting firms, signing them on to our Accountants Forum and nurturing the relationship
- Maintaining relationships with top forum members, client visits and ensuring product as well as campaign knowledge is kept up to date.
- Organising and running end user events to forum linked clients
- Product presentations on Pastel Partner and Auditor
- Attainment of assigned forum sales targets
- Telephonic sales to forum end users
- Handling of queries and complaints from the forum channel and liaising with other departments if necessary
- Mine the database for forum leads and sign up new members
- Attend Accounting body meetings, roadshows and conventions and network with the relevant audience
- Training of channel members should it be necessary
Key Performance Indicators:
- Meeting monthly forum sales targets
- Meeting monthly signup targets
- Hold quarterly meetings with each of the Forum accounting firms eg: KPMG, Ernst & Young etc
- Liaise telephonically or face to face with each of the top accounts monthly
Qualifications & requirements
- BComm with Accounts 2
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Pastel knowledge advantageous but not essential
- Must have done presentations at boardroom level
- Must have own transport (travel will be involved)
Personal requirements
- Must have a sales profile ie must be a go-getter
- Must be comfortable with public speaking
- Excellent spoken and telephone manner
- Presentable
Screening process
- A PI Indicator test will be done to establish profile
- Accounting knowledge will be tested
- 3 interviews will be conducted (agency, manager, director)
