"BEE Scorecard"

AfriSam is a great company to work for. Although, I cannot help but wonder what their rating on the BEE scorecard is. I am a former employee and I can't remember seeing a black person in a senior position there at the time that I was working at AfriSam. AfriSam treats all their employee with great respect.

My job description entails site investigations, meetings and negotiations relating to the production at hand. AfriSam invests a lot into the development of their employees. My colleagues are all good to work with, I guess it’s because we’re all on the same page.

"Monotonous work"

The work is good. The downside is that you the same thing every day so the job becomes monotonous and boring. The management is awesome. I feel like I’m part of a family at AfriSam. Whenever you need help with something, help is always available. This is one of those jobs where you start early in the morning and only leave once all your clients are satisfied, so it can get tiring.

No work life balance. 12 hour work days on average. Poor senior management. Lack of consistency in how employees are treated. Rules change depending on who you are. Most employees leave without a job.
