RAF is responsible for providing appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; rehabilitating and compensating persons injured as a result of motor vehicles in a timely and caring manner; and actively promoting the safe use of all South African roads. The Road Accident Fund Act stipulates that ‘the object of the Fund shall be the payment of compensation in accordance with this Act for loss or damage wrongfully caused by the driving of a motor vehicle. The client base of RAF comprises not only of the South African public, but all foreigners within the border of the country. They provide two types of cover: Personal insurance cover to accident victims or their families, and Indemnity Cover to wrongdoers.

Have worked for the company for fourteen years as a claims officer. I had a good relationship with colleagues, stakeholders. I come with wealth of legal knowledge on criminal, civil procedure, magistrate and high court rules as well as negotiation skills. I am very much customer orientated.
