The Denis Hurley Centre in Durban CBD is looking for 2 full-time carers. Work will be partly in our primary healthcare clinic and partly outreach to needy people on the streets of Durban.

The Denis Hurley Centre is committed to helping the most marginalised, the poor, homeless people and refugees, treating them with respect and dignity. We are a faith-based organisation that welcomes staff and volunteers who share our ethos whatever their religious tradition.

Requirements: Recognised course in Community Care (HWSETA)
Plus: Recognised course on HIV counselling (10 days minimum)

Desired: Driving license
Languages – English, isi-Zulu and at least 2 other languages (South African or other)
Residing in central Durban

Hours: Monday to Friday: 7.30am-4pm
