Our Client is looking for 2 Operations Managers. Responsibilities and Duties consist of:Control and manage stockControl and manage cash including bankingControl and manage assetsBanqueting Management & controlAnalyze and interpret daily unit resultsDetermine and implement corrective / proactive actionManage point of sale systemSupport the implementation of the Business PlanSupport and guidance to Management teamKnowledge of operational standards of HLMControl CostsManagement of overall profitability and budgets of the unit in its entiretyEnsure good staff relations to maintain a comfortable and productive working environmentEnsure adherence to company policies and proceduresManage team performanceManage Customer/Client relationshipForecasting & Budgeting ability/expertiseBe able to control, manage and maintain excellent operational standards at the respective outlets including but not limited to cost control, stock control, quality control in food and beverage.Be able to adhere to prescribed company and client standards attached with the highest level of guest and staff satisfaction.Be able to plan, organize, direct and control the day-to-day running of the operation as well as the associates in the outlet under your control in order to achieve your financial targets.Be able to deal with all labour issues effectively in order to avoid any workplace disputes and create a harmonious environment conducive to increased staff productivityEffectively report on the daily, weekly & monthly progression of the operation to Senior ManagementTo establish excellent relationships with guests, the client and your team in order to ensure satisfaction levels remains on a high.Skills, Experience & Educational equirements:Matric qualificationTertiary education in HospitalityHospitality experience - 5 star environments (5-7 years)Management experience (5-7 years)Experience in a Banqueting environmentExperience in Hotel management advantageousExperience in dealing with unions advantageous.Excellent communication SkillsStrong analytical skills, decision making, problem solving, results focused individualSelf- motivated & disciplinedHigh attention to detailAn excellent command of the English languageComputer literacy – MS office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, knowledge of micros advantageous)South-African citizenshipDriver’s license essentialKnowledge of SA Labour lawShould you not receive a response within 2 weeks, assume your application unsuccessful.
