Financial Manager Position

Brief Description Our client is an exciting new venture created through the merger of 3 leading business intelligence industry players. The company is a leader within the business intelligence and information management field employing 70 staff and servicing over 200 clients nationally. The company is looking for a person to lead the finance function within the business and work closely with the executive team to deliver profitability to the business.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team to manage the finance function. With 3 staff reporting to them they will be accountable for the creation of Monthly management reports, General Ledger Recons, financial statements, tax, budgeting and other financial requirements within the company.

Further to that the person will be responsible for managing the performance of the business by working closely with the operations team to drive and manage project profitability and resource optimization Qualification: CA(SA) Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial reporting role At least 2 years' experience managing people Experience working within a business that executes and implements projects and accounts for project profitability Experience within a consultancy company would be a help Skills Required: Ability to work independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Good leadership and negotiation skills CA(SA) with big 5 articles
