software-savvy, agile leader to fill their newly available Agile Scrum Master slot.

To fit the role, in your arsenal of Scrum knowledge and software development prowess, you’ll need to be a subject-matter expert, have excellent logic, problem solving skills and the drive to make a difference.

Our client needs an individual that puts the team first. One shining star responsible for enforcing the rules of Scrum, and removing impediments; all the while promoting self-management and the improvement of standards of procedure within our awesome team.

Who You’ll Be Helping Out

As a newly appointed Agile Scrum Master, you’ll be the ‘knight in shining armour’ to a number of sources needing that mastery. You’ll lend wisdom and a helping hand to internal and external groups needing products, services, programmes and information.

You’ll be providing services to Subscribers, Group business stakeholders, Portfolio managers and Development teams

What you will be doing

* Promote effective collaboration

* Provide facilitation

* Lend leadership

* Deliver coaching skills supporting the development of our software applications

Requirements

* Must be self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated

* Serve as liaison between technical and business departments

* Communicate with other management, developers, product managers and technical support specialists, on product issues

* Must be a ‘team player’ with the ability to work within a collaborative and ever changing environment

* Organize and facilitate Sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings

* Track and communicate sprint/ and release progress

* Maintain process documentation

* Ensure the Scrum teams are practicing the core agile principles of valuing Individuals and their interactions, Delivering working software, Customer collaboration, and responding to change.

Support The Product Owner

* Assist as needed with backlog maintenance (grooming and prioritization)

* Assist with internal and external communication by improving transparency, and radiating information

* Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs

Support The Development Team

* Assist teams with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition

* Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practice

* Identify and remove impediments

* Prevent distractions and interference with the team

* Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution

* Empower the team to self-organize

* Enable growth and individual as well as team development

Skills And Experience

* Must be a Certified Scrum Master (non-negotiable)

* Must have active experience in this role in an agile software development environment (non-negotiable)

* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personality types

* Ability to understand technical issues at a high level

* Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures

* Thorough understanding of development best practices

* Proven ability to work independently without supervision and with other department personnel

* Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills

* Must be information-sharing orientated

* Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential

* Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to time-critical problems

* Must be collaborative in driving decisions

* Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
