Our client is an exciting new business created through the merger of three leading Business Intelligence industry players. They are a leader within the Business Intelligence field, employing 70 staff and servicing over 200 clients throughout South Africa.

They are currently on the lookout for a New Business Consultant. The Successful candidate needs to be a naturally enthusiastic, effervescent and energetic HUNTER sales professional who is looking for a role that places them at the forefront of cutting edge Business Intelligence technology and innovation with an established solution set.

Our Client is in a phase of accelerated growth and therefore requires someone who is a disciplined, hard worker that thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You must be able to establish & maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle, exude a passion for understanding the technical needs of the customer and articulating the value of the companies’ products and solutions in meeting those needs at an Enterprise Level.

You must therefore be a naturally confident and engaging communicator who is able to represent the company with impact and professionalism with one or two individuals or a team, right through to a board of directors.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to develop new business in Gauteng, to achieve sales targets and maximise sales revenue opportunities through maintaining relationships. The Companies Sales Executives are challenged every day to go out and sell the world’s leading Business Intelligence Software to potential customers

Key Responsibilities:

* Creatively identify new businesses and activities to be featured

* Expand client base through cold calling, cold canvassing, client referrals or any innovative sales processes

* Maximise sales revenue opportunities

* Organize meetings with prospective businesses, negotiating attractive offers for existing clients.

* Achieve revenue and profit targets

* Market and business acumen knowledge essential.

* Proactively seek out new opportunities whilst maintaining relationships with established clients to build and maintain a portfolio of preferred partners.

* Presents ideas effectively, by delivering presentations suited to the diverse needs of the audience.
