The Package:
  • Up to R24k per month (negotiable depending on experience)
  • 22 days annual leave
  • Working for an established London based employer
  • Working with London based clients (predominately)
  • Access to a healthcare scheme
  • 40 – 48 hours per week, shifts during the core business hours of Monday – Friday, 8am – 9pm as well as some out of hours shifts, a flexibile approach to shift times is essential for this role
     
What does a 3rd support Engineer Do?
  • You will work ‘As One’ with your team mates to provide the best ‘Service Obsessed’ customer service to all of our clients.
  • You will be troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and supporting a wide range of SME IT systems, typically for 10-100 users.
  • You will have a ‘Hands on’ problem solving approach; solving problems within strict SLA timeframes.
  • Work on cases remotely via phone, email and Internet
  • Hardware and software, desktop, network and infrastructure support
 
So, Am I Right for the Job?
  • Demonstrable experience of working with technologies such as Fortigate; Citrix; VMWare; Exchange, Hyper V, Office365 etc. (SharePoint is advantageous)
  • Excellent problem solving ability, customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Investigation of repeat failures and establishing root cause
  • Consultancy on technical projects/solutions
  • Honest, responsible, diligent, organised and knowledgeable
  • Experience of providing IT Support in a commercial environment relevant to your level
  • Experience supporting Microsoft software (Office, Exchange, Active Directory, Server etc)
  • Formal IT qualification, ideally MCSE/MCITP or multiple MCPs
