Our Client, a role Player in the Mining Industry is seeking the services of a Mechanical Engineer for the operation of a mining equipment manufacturing company.

*Minimum Requirements
Age
Years of service?
10 years plus relevant experience would be of advantage
ECSA Registration Number
Suitable for Factory
An MBA would be of advantage
People management skills

*Knowledge and Experience
Qualified Mechanical Engineer
Working knowledge of Solid Worx drawing package
Business development
Tendering and tendering procedures
Contractual arrangements
Financial control over contracts
Valuation of work in progress
Cash flow budgets (S curves) in respect of contract
ISO:9001 - 2015 knowledge
Compliance to QA QC systems
Costing and estimating
Managing factory operations workshops or related work
Managing relationships with clients
Ability to manage tight schedules within time and budget
Understanding and management of cost efficiency
Manufacturing and repairs of steelwork
Manufacturing and repairs of hydraulics
Manufacturing and repairs of machinery
Project management
Fast tracking of projects
Resource planning and scheduling
Planning Leading Organising and Controlling of the team and the work
Daily dashboards

Job Location: Close to Gaborone, Botswana Candidate required to relocate
Time Frame: To start a.s.a.p
Leave: Company break at the end of the year, i.e. Builders holiday
Type of position: Permanent after 6 month successful probation period
Monthly Cost to Company: Exp will determine, max ZAR 1000 000 p/a
