Actively convert enquiries to bookings delivering outstanding figures. Ensures that she and her team meet monthly budgets and alerts management timeously if there are concerns. Is proactive and imaginative about how VIP bookings can be managed and Instructs the guest houses and housekeeping accordingly. Does the rooming lists at times (this job rotates) but checks it when the others do it. At times proactively calls out for new business. Determines when promotions are required and devices them for management discussion and agreement. Effective rates planning and yield management with the guidance of the Hotel Manager and Finance Department. Manages Revenue and Yield within the Hotel. Must have experience in this arena. QualificationsRelevant Hospitality Qualification is a strong advantage.SkillsYou will be a successful candidate if you are a team player but a leader. Very detail orientated. Love administration. Be 100% dedicated to delivering on your and your teams' KPI’s and NOT be a clock watcher – Be very conscientious about work and take tremendous pride in doing well. You will have a proven track record converting leads to sales. Have worked on property management systems. Great personality. Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing. Extremely organised.
