AA Brand Officer Position

Isando

Salary offered is R15000 per month, medical aid contribution and pension

My client is a market leader in the car rental environment based in Isando who requires a dynamic individual who will need to provide marketing support by assisting in building the brand equity through successful implementation of the Marketing Strategy & Plans. The successful candidate must be able to establish good relationships with customers and staff, take initiative, work under own direction, work under pressure and be able to work overtime as and when is required with good attention to detail.

The successful candidate must have
Matric
Driver’s license
Relevant tertiary qualification - B.Com or Marketing degree (IMM or relevant)
Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role.
Broad understanding/experience of marketing in B2B & B2C environment required.
Must be willing to travel
Willing to work overtime
The successful candidate must be able to establish good relationships with customers and staff, take
initiative, work under own direction and be able to work overtime as and when is required.
Computer literate in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project and Outlook

Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
Assist with project management on key marketing projects or campaigns
Assist in the development of the brand plan
Coordinate branch activations on brand campaigns, general promotions or seasonal activities
Work with the digital agency to coordinate and formulate the social media content plan on a monthly basis.
Ensure that daily social media queries are dealt with timeously and feedback is given to the customer.
Work with the public relations agency to coordinate the annual plan and weekly and monthly action plans
Coordinate the content plan for the in branch digital TVs as well as initiating the content
Assist in implementing marketing initiatives to internal customers i.e. new launches, promotional material,
collateral, promotions, measurement of results vs. targets and to prepare post mortem reports
Liaise with external suppliers (promotional, advertising & media agencies as well as other contracted
suppliers)
Assist with ad-hoc projects or activations whenever necessary
Provide support to the Events and Sponsorship manager with brand requirements where required as well as
leveraging opportunities
Provide monthly reporting on all activities performance and measurement as well as budget reconciliation
Present postmortems reports to the Brand Manager Value Added Products for each project, including
budgetary reconciliations
In-depth marketing knowledge and classical marketing background (B2B and B2C)
