A well-established National Retail Market leader in automotive/parts sector with the Head Office based Linbro Parkarea seeks a strong analyst with problem solving skills. They require a fast learner with Good communication and critical thinking skills who has the ability to meet task deadlines under pressure


Qualifications & Experience:
• Grade 12/Matric certificate is essential
• Tertiary qualification in business/inventory management wouldbe an advantage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Weekly, bi-monthly and monthly ELCB suggested supplier orders to be checked and signed off.
• Daily/Weekly interbranch suggested orders to be checked and signed off.
• Daily processing of suggested orders on ELCB.
• Daily/weekly processing of VMI orders received from suppliers on ELCB.
• Processing of PM order requests (new items, buy-in’s).
• Weekly oil orders – process on ELCB and load onto the Supplier Online System.
• Prepare cover sheets for Orders to be faxed or emailed.
• Manual orders: Send orders and cover sheets to suppliers and follow up – confirmation to bereceived within 24 hours.
• EDI orders: Send cover sheets to suppliers and follow up – confirmation to be received sameday on all EDI orders.
• Capture confirmations on ELCB.
• Follow up on backorders with suppliers weekly.
• Backorder file reconciliation and clearing invalid orders off ELCB.
• VMI – All existing VMI Suppliers
• Daily/weekly processing of VMI orders received from suppliers on ELCB.
• Communicate with PM’s and Suppliers to resolve all rejected part numbers.
• Measure supplier VMI performance by tracking Availability across all branches on a
daily/weekly basis.
• Ensure all promotional orders are placed with urgency.
• Expedite promotional orders and ensure stock is received before promotion starts.
• Communicate supply problems to PM’s.
• Track Availability of promotional items for the duration of the promotion.
• All signed of suggested order schedules to be filed and labeled correctly.
• All orders and order confirmations and PM order requests to be filed weekly.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties, which may be required from time to time.
• Ensure housekeeping and environment is of the highest standard at all times.
• Ensure dress code is according to standards.
