PBT Group has a requirement for an Ab Initio Metadata Consultant to join our team in the Financial sector.

Duties:
- provide development, configuration, and administration for the Ab Initio Metadata Hub platform;
- provide development, configuration, and administration for the Ab Initio Express>IT software;
- design and build interfaces to systems in the environment to extract metadata;
- assist with metadata capture, maintenance, and automation strategies;
- collaborate with team members to design effective processes;
- develop automated scripts to support metadata extraction;
- assist in the development of standards for the metadata platform and associated interfaces;
- provide timely communication to application teams and business partners on issues or project status;
- assist and support team members and users;
- participate in developing a roadmap for Enterprise Metadata.

Skills Required:
- 3+ years of Ab Initio Metadata experience
- Experience utilizing Ab Initio Express>IT/DQE
- Experience supporting an Ab Initio Metadata system
- Data warehouse experience
- Ab Initio, SQL, UNIX experience
- ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience with Ab Initio products such as EME, Control Center, Metadata Hub, or Conduct IT
- Application development and implementation experience
- Ability to quickly and accurately execute tactical deliverables
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science
