Role and Responsibilities of the Academic Business Manager

The Academic Business Manager will:
? Be responsible for the design, delivery, assessment, and quality enhancement of an entire school/faculty of the business
?Deliver innovation in teaching, learning and assessment practices to promote successful graduates
?Undertake high quality research culminating in innovative new product development
?Foster strategic relationships with regulatory councils, business, and academic instuitions
? Achieve growth targets in terms of student enrolments for a particular school/faculty of the business
?Facilitate new product development in line with market expectations and international trends

REQUIREMENTS
?Minimum of a Master’s Degree
? Minimum of 5 Years working experience either in industry or within an academic environment
? Solid track record of achieving sales enrollment targets and new product development
? Experience in managing and motivating and mentoring staff to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency
?Ability to work in a highly pressurized environment and the ability to multi-task between various projects and achieve tight deadlines
?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
?Excellent computer skills (MS Word; MS Excel; MS PowerPoint) and project management skills
