Package
3 year Contract (Renewable)
• Single and family contracts available.
• Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience.
• From 10300 QAR up to 18875 QAR per month. 18875 QAR +/- 94 00 Sudanese Pound/ 48 000 MAD / 600 000 DZD / 2000 OMR. Salary paid in QAR.
• Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
• Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
• Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
• 40 days paid annual vacation days.
• End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Job Specification
Position Summary:
• The Academic Research Coordinator, under supervision of Principal Investigator (PI), will coordinate and execute research studies in accordance with international standards and ethical conduct of research activities and Good Research Practices guidelines. This role assists in completion of all research activities assigned to the particular project by the PI, perform proper data entry and acquisition, procure study supplies, route procurement requests, ensure budget adherence and perform other administrative support tasks related to the research protocol.

Accountabilities:
• Conducts of experiments including preparation, sampling, data collection and analysis and preparation of results and reports including those requiring high level of skill and judgment
• Monitors conduct of research and ensures that all activities including data collection are performed with accordance to the highest ethical standards
• Prepares complex and detailed documentation (e.g. grant applications, “materials and methods” for the peer reviewed research publications) requiring literature reviews and/or analysis of existing data
• Ensures conduct of the research according to the approved research protocols
• Interacts and communicate effectively with the PI/Research team leader and other research personnel as appropriate to the research proposal
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing research protocol related procedures as appropriate
• Perform training for less experienced members of the research team, especially volunteers and graduate students about safety, ethical research conduct and adherence to research protocols and SOPs.
• Complete required research function as liaison between PI and the research team
• Maintain and update a written record of research conduct in a written form
• Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) for a given research protocol and ensures that it will be followed by other research team members
• Supervise research facilities as designated by the Head of Research Administration
• Responsible for maintaining accuracy, timeliness and quality of research procedures and data related to research projects
• Presents strong ethics in proper research conduct and data recording
• Perform other duties as assigned.
