Leading international Electrical Manufacturer is seeking to employ an Account Manager with motor control systems experience at their Cape Town branch.

Responsibilities:
a) Conduct oneself in a sober and responsible manner at all time so as not to in anyway undermine the company’s integrity and or bring the companies name into disrepute
b) The Accounts Manager carries the total responsibility for the allocated sales budget
c) Responsible for sales of systems and components
d) Drawing up a sales forecast spanning a four month period
e) Responsible for client contact lists, capturing of project and product sale opportunities and forecasting
f) Constantly monitor opposition pricing and product enhancements and report back the Branch Manager
g) Responsible for the profitability of you budget
h) Responsible for the competence training of one’s self
i) Promotional campaigns together with Marketing and Product Management
j) Assist with any customer related problems and enquiries
k) Ensure that all processes associated with the sales environment are up to date and followed
l) Maximise profitable order input across the product portfolio
m) Develop potential business within the area
n) Effectively manage own activity with the area by planning and reporting, following the specified procedure
o) To form relationships with customers and potential customer contacts to enable maximum business potential to be realised
p) Assist in the expansion of the customer base and Market Share
q) Liaise closely with colleagues to ensure that maximum order potential is realised for both systems and component sales
r) Communicate market intelligence obtained in the area to the Branch Manager
s) Provide relevant input at Sales Meetings
t) Achieve prescribed sales budget for the financial year
u) Give correct information to the Branch Manager’s secretary to update customer data base regularly
v) Participate in the development and application of a product training program
w) Adhering to discount structures

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

? Knowledge of electrical products & systems.
? Kknowledge of a Sales and Marketing Strategy and Budget
? 3 - 5 years external sales experience in Motor Control Products and Systems
? Knowledge of SANS 10142
