A well-established Clothing Manufacturer is seeking a Merchandising Account Manager, responsible for dealing with and servicing the Company’s Primary client.

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• To be the first point of call for all aspects of the primary account
• Responsible for all aspects of the servicing of this account, utilising all the merchandising departments in this account
• Ensuring and maintaining a high service level to the customer
• Leading, developing and training the departmental merchandisers
PRE SALES
• Involved in information gathering during Fabric week and Design Briefs
• Identifying new business opportunities with customer in order to grow sales
• Ensuring that the critical path from the customer is suitable for the Company to operate within
• Attending all Debriefs of your departments
SALES
• Ensure sales targets are established and met, based on the targets given per department (turnover, units and minutes)
• Ensure required profit margin is delivered based on targets given
• Quoting and Negotiating of all styles – Final responsibility and accountability of all costing files during the season
IN SEASON
• Monitoring of departmental accounts to create trading opportunities
• Standstills with Merchandisers and Technologists to ensure work flow and supply is on track
• In communication with Customer on requests
DELIVERIES
• Attend internal availability & capacity meetings – Concerns are raised with customer
STOCKS
• Attend Fabric Stocks meeting
• Monitor fabric stocks and allocations

Requirements & qualities:
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Merchandising management role
• Marketing & Sales-Orientated ability essential
• Good negotiator and strong management skills
• Well-presented and highly motivated
