Account Manager - Financial Services

We are urgently recruiting for an Account Manager who will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with their portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.

You will have:

Level of Education:

• Relevant Marketing degree/diploma
Experience:

Essential:
• 3 - 5 years relevant experience in a relationship management role

Desirable:
• 3+ years relevant experience in short term insurance
Skills:

• Ability to interact effectively with people in various functions and at all levels of the organization
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Mathematical skills
• MS Office

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Developing a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Communicating clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Forecasting and tracking key account metrics
• Identifying and growing opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment

Location: Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Johannesburg.
