Position: Account Manager (IT Industry) - Midrand

Output/Core Tasks: Assist Strategic Account Managers within current and new accounts. Position reports to the Sales director
Qualifications required:
• Relevant degree or diploma
• Formal technical and sales training

Candidate requirements & essential skills:
• 4 Years’ + experience in similar role
• High degree of aptitude in the IT environment
• Good understanding of general IT concepts
• Strong client service delivery focus
• Fluent in English and able to articulate issues clearly
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Strong administrative, project and organisational skills
• Experience in building strong relationships
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets would be beneficial
• Networks, Telecommunications and/or Security experience
• Able to sell via Channel Partners as well as clients directly
• Relationship and network building ability

Duties:
• Schedule and manage meetings
• Setup workshops
• Distribute information
• Manage and adhere to deadlines
• Identify resources
• Assist in invoice process
• Admin & marketing assistance
• Pre-technical assistance
• Proactively manage client expectations
• Maintain sales and lead information on CRM system up until invoicing
• Provide feedback gathered through field activities
