Introduction: The purpose of this Account Manager role is to:
• Maximise client service with new and existing clients
• Establish and maintain business relationships with existing and new clients in order to create new business development opportunities that increase future revenue streams and adoption
• Work as a team to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and professionalism is reached and maintained

ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT: This role plays a central part in the retention and attraction of existing and new partner relationships. This position typically performs a client service function between the strategic business needs of the business and the Partner.

KNOWLEDGE:
• Good business acumen and commercial savvy
• Good knowledge in using various Microsoft tools
• Understands how to provide excellent client service retention strategies
• Industry knowledge of ERP, Accounting and BI Decent
• Knowledge of the client and client’s industry
• Computer and IT savvy
• Good accounting and financial understanding
SKILLS:
• Ability to deal with corporate clients
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good reasoning and problem solving capacity
• Basic MS Office skills
• Intermediate MS Excel skills
• Basic financial / accounting skills
• Presentation skills
• Ability to converse with senior management, with general knowledge of their functional areas (i.e. HR; Finance; IT; etc.)
• Ability to converse and respond to queries from client IT departments regarding product installation, requirements, security etc.

EXPERIENCE: 2 - 5 years client relationship management experience within an IT or Financial industry Accounting/ Financial / ERP client services support experience
QUALIFICATION:
Degree (i.e. BCom General business management/ Finance)
