We are looking for dynamic and motivated account managers to join our team in Bellville, Cape Town.

You will be required to do shift work from 3pm - 11pm ( South African time) to support the American timezones.

Responsibilities/essential duties:

Introducing and orienting customers to the software platform
Helping customers setup the platform for their company
Assisting customers in strategy, implementation, and sell-through related to use of the platform
Performing joint demos with customers
Maintaining and improving customer engagement with the platform
Staying current on news, problems, and changes with the platform that could affect our customers
Respond and resolve customer problems in a timely and courteous manner.

Requirements:

You have a proven track record in account management
You are familiar with online marketing, in general
You can communicate well, with excellent English skills
You have good computer and internet skills
You are creative and able to learn quickly and work independently
You are a “workhorse” and can do several things simultaneously, while keeping a firm grip on priorities
You are flexible and willing to work in an informal setting
Tertiary education in Marketing/Communications beneficial
Providing a positive customer experience
Managing customer accounts
Selling to B2B audiences
Teaching customers to use software platforms
Responding to and resolving customer issues

Additional Requirements:

Prioritise and solve complex issues
Collaborate with other members of the team, from technical support to development
Learn new software quickly
Confidently sell a product
Track and document the full length of the account management process
Meet and exceed performance metrics as outlined by management regarding quantity of customers, average turnaround time for resolution of issues, and customer satisfaction.
Multi-task to manage constant requests for information and ensure proper follow through with each customer
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing (with an emphasis on communication through email)
Work with little supervision, must be a self-starter
