Accounting Manager/Finance Manager – Cape Town

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to the General Manager in Cape Town and to the Namibian parent company,

The suitable incumbent will be responsible for:

DUTIES
Accounting;
Purchase orders and invoicing
Managing debtors and creditors
Banking and cash flow planning
Monthly management accounts and reports
VAT, across border, imports, monthly returns
Payroll
Costing analysis
Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the Inland Revenue
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a BA, ideally with an MBA/CPA or related degree
Statutory and GAAP compliance
Proven working experience at least 5 years
Advanced Excel skills
Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
