Accountant/Financial Manager
About the position:
Accountant/Financial Manager required.
The ideal candidate will be detail orientated, a self-starter, driven, proactive and have the confidence to handle the full accounting function with minimum to no supervision.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team is essential.
Working hours/days: 08:00am to 17:00pm Monday – Friday
Duties include however are not limited to;
Importing and reconciliation of bank statement/cashbooks via pastel bank manager – including mapping of accounts.
Reconciliation of debtors
Handle all debtor related queries, telephonically, via email or fax. Follow up on late accounts in accordance with established procedures.
Ensuring all debtor information is accurately recorded & being kept up to date
Reconciliation of creditors
Handle all creditor related queries, telephonically, via email or fax.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Matric essential
Completed tertiary qualification in the accounting field is a prerequisite
Full accountant function
Sage VIP payroll experience essential
Pastel V14 experience essential
