A medium sized auditing firm based in Bryanston has an exciting opportunity for a strong, dynamic and vibrant Accountant. Minimum Requirements
Matric/Grade 12
BCom (Degree/Diploma) in Accounting
2 years’ experience in similar role
SAIPA/SAICA/ACCA Articles required
Must have excellent computer skills including outlook, excel, and word and Caseware.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of IFRS for SME’s
Basic knowledge of VAT and Income Tax
Excellent communication etiquette with clients
Detail oriented and organised
Must take initiative and be self-driven
Be able to take accountability
Ability to plan and work under pressure
Must be well presented and well-spoken
Work hours are 7:00 – 16:00 / 8:00 – 17:00
The incumbent’s responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Drafting of financial statements in Caseware required
Strong in reconciliations, including payroll and VAT reconciliation’s
Preparation of year end journal entries to finalise a client’s accounting records
Prepare and complete Independent Reviews and Compilations
