Accountant / SNR Bookkeeper

Educational Requirements:
Matric
B.Com Accounting is a must

Experience Requirements:
Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant
Previous experience in manufacturing/wholesales or exports major advantage
Must be computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook
Must be advanced user on Pastel Evolution and Excel
Must be well spoken and able to communicate in English
Own Transport

Responsibilities:
Full Function Bookkeeping To Balance Sheet
Full Function Debtors
Balance all accounts
Fixed assets
Full Function Creditors
Income statements
Bank Recons
Account Recons
Maintain inventories of material, selling and cost prices
Forecasting on income and expenses
VAT calculations and recons
Review of reconciliations done by other staff members
Tax calculations and completion of tax returns
Provisional tax calculations and completion of returns
Monthly management account checking
Preparation of financial statements
Bank maintenance
Releasing EFT payments
Daily and monthly timetable and planning
Monthly reconciliation of staff loans
Stock recons & stock movement Review of stock orders

Additional information:
Salary R25 000 – R35 000 per month
