Our Client in Paarl is looking to employ an efficient, self-motivated and experienced Accountant to report directly to the Financial Manager.

The successful candidate must have:

B Com degree or equivalent qualification
10 years relevant experience – Accountant to Balance Sheet
Have strong financial and some costing experience
Former work experience in a manufacturing environment will be highly beneficial, must at least understand the manufacturing environment
Must be analytical, a problem solver, able to prioritise, multi-task and pay attention to detail
Highly computer literate with advanced Excel skills, experienced on ERP systems (SAP, Syspro, we use Qmuzik)


The successful candidate will amongst others be responsible for:

Preparing Year-end audit file
Assist with budgets
Month-end & Year-end timetables
Debtors and Creditors reviews
Daily cash flow reports
Journal registers
Job costing review
Outstanding requisitions report
Labour analysis
Full accounting functions for smaller subsidiaries
Administration of Company cell phones

Salary: R22 000 - R25 000 + benefits (depending on experience)
