Our client, a leader in the entertainment industry, is looking for a dynamic individual to take up the role of Head Office Accountant – 2 months Temp Position to become a part of their team.


Key Performance Areas
• Responsibility for Intercompany reconciliations and recharges to the units
• Processing of journal entries
• Preparation of Balance sheet recons including bank reconciliations
• Review of creditors reconciliations and administration of EFT payments
• Manage technical requirements of Accpac system and liaise with vendors as required

Requirements, Skills and Competencies
• A three year Financial Qualification (e.g. BComm / CIS / IAC / CCA) (NQF 5)
• At least four years’ experience in a similar accounting role
• In depth knowledge of VAT and proficient in the preparation of VAT returns
• Experienced working with Accpac (Cashbook & GL)
