Vondeling Wines, situated on the slopes of the Paardeberg Mountain
in the Paarl Wine Region, has the following exciting career opportunity.
The successful candidate is an excellent communicator (fully bilingual), with strong interpersonal and leadership skills, can work
accurately under pressure and has strong financial acumen. A relevant accounting qualification and ±3 years’ experience in accounting to trial
balance in the manufacturing field, are also required for this position.Computer literacy (Pastel and MS Excel) is a further requirement, while
experience of the logistical processes in the wine industry, will be to the candidate’s advantage.

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and duties and responsibilities will include the following: • preparation of
monthly management accounts, reports and budgets • developing a strong relationship with the Winemaker and the Farm Manager
to provide analytical support to business decisions • debtors and creditors • stock control • balance sheet reconciliations • general ledger reconciliations and development of a chartered account • completion of monthly statutory returns • other ad hocadministrative, logistics and financial functions.
