My client, within the Service Delivery industry, requires a well experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal profile required is that of an individual that displays leadership skills. Coming from a similar industry, that is prepared to put in extra hours when required and that has a hands-on approach.



Qualification:

Matric plus a completed Tertiary qualification (Financial related)

Completed Articles will be an added advantage



Skills & Experience:

Good leadership skills

Extensive experience using accounting software (ideally an ERP system)

Advanced Excel skills

Ability to work under pressure



Job Description:

This position requires the candidate to see to the full accounting function.

Some duties include, but are not limited to:

General Ledger recons

Payment requisitions

Reviewing Journal entries

Forecasts

Annual Budgets

Staff management

Credit note requisitions

Asset Register

Company policy and procedure review

Branch audits

Year-end packs

Liaising with auditors

Assist Financial Manager where required
