My client, within the Services industry, requires an experienced Accountant to join their team. The ideal profile required is that of an individual that displays leadership skills, coming from a similar industry, that is prepared to put in extra hours when required and that has a hands-on approach. Qualification:

Matric plus a completed Degree (Finance related)

CIMA will be beneficial



Skills & Experience:

Good leadership skills

Extensive experience using accounting software (ideally an ERP system)

Advanced Excel skills

Ability to work under pressure



Job Description:

The functions of this role will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Prepare annual budgets

Periodic forecasting

Review of budgets

Reporting on performance

Provide support to relevant parties with regards to reporting in order to help them manage their relevant areas

Monthly journal process

Manage the Fixed Asset Register

Manage Accounts Payable

Staff Management

Preparation of year end packs

Involvement in projects and ad hoc work

Be the right hand of the FM
