As an Accountant, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial support to our client's operations and ensuring that group accounting policies are adhered to in full.

Reporting on the profitability of a particular product group, you'll promptly prepare and analyse aspects of our client's monthly management financial statements for specific areas within the business.

Additionally, you'll assist the Accounting Manager in the production of financial analysis and undertake vital variance analysis.
Your other duties will include: - Calculating bad debt provisions - Handling accruals and prepayments - Developing an understanding of the drivers that impact the monthly financial statements and applying them - Calculating commission, royalty and profit share figures - Assisting in the accounting integration of new products

To be considered for this role, you must: - Be qualified and currently studying, or looking to study, - Possess strong technical management or general ledger accounts experience - Have a good understanding of budgets and forecasts and their difference to actuals - Have the ability to produce and deliver accurate monthly results to tight timescales - Possess demonstrable financial systems aptitude and IT skills As an Accountant, you must possess excellent organisation, prioritisation and multi-tasking skills with a strong attention to detail.

Professional and meticulous, you must also have a proactive, delivery-focused approach and a team player mentality. Advanced MS Excel knowledge would be beneficial to your application.
