Our Motor dealer client in Menlyn has a vacancy for an Accountant. This role will be best suited to someone with 3 years’ experience as an Accountant in a car dealership with Automate/Keerridge Autoline or CDK Drive.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Matric
• National Diploma or equivalent post matric qualification in Accounting.

COMPUTER PACKAGES:
• Fully computer literate
• Advanced in excel
• Kerrige or Automate will be an advantage

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Bank reconciliation
• Issuing and posting of cashbook payments
• Prepare and submit monthly reports timeously and accurately
• Monthly reconciliation of General Ledger
• Management of debtor and credit function
• Control petty cash
• Risk and Control:
o Ability to identify financial risks and implement solutions
o Monitor current controls and report non-conformances immediately
o Able to implement policies and procedures
o Timeously report on any non-compliance
• Monitor adherence to company policy, procedure and relevant legislative requirements
• Order Placement and Basic Inventory/Stock Management
