Qualification:

Accounting Degree or CIMA

SAIPA Articles or SAICA Articles completed



Skills & Experience:

Working knowledge of Sage Evolution / Pastel

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel



Job Description:

Month-end reporting and preparation of management accounts

Liaise with internal and external auditors

Providing accurate financial reports

Support the Financial Manager

Capturing of accounting transactions and preparation of monthly and weekly reconciliations

Processing of inventory manufacturing and monthly stock take

Ensuring Stock Control measures are in place and adhered to

Processing of month-end journals and accruals

Maintain Fixed Asset Register

Prepare Month End Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Prepare Audit Files and co-ordinating the audit process by liaising and interacting with auditors

Process Foreign Currency revaluations

Preparation and filing of Vat Returns

Weekly maintenance of cash flow

Assist Financial Manager with accounting queries

Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as required

Liaising with bank and other financial institutes

Preparation of annual financial statements

Co-ordinating the audit process by liaising and interacting with auditors
