An investment group with multiple properties in their portfolio requires the experience of a skilled Accountant. The successful candidate will be managing their own property portfolio and would be required to travel to the various property sites. You will have a strong mentor to guide and shape your financial career.



Qualification:

BCom Accounting or similar

SAIPA or SAICA Articles



Skills & Experience:

3 years Post Articles experience in an Accounting environment

Advanced Excel skills

Analytical thinker

Deadline driven

Proactive

High level of accuracy

Problem Solver

Pastel Evolution experience

Working knowledge of IFRS

Working knowledge of Income Tax and VAT legislation

Attention to detail is essential



Job Description:

Address tenant queries

Maintain Fixed Asset Register

Monthly creditors, debtors, general ledgers and cashbook process to trial balance for entities

Cash flow management

Identify and correct accounts processing deficiencies

Maintain lease schedules

Timely preparation, review and submissions of VAT, PAYE calculations, reconciliations and payments

Management Reporting

Prepare supporting schedules for audit and address audit queries

Prepare rental and recharge invoices to tenants

Prepare property cost schedules for monthly payments on banking platforms and for monthly tenant recharges

Prepare, calculate and submit provisional and annual income tax returns for individuals and companies

Investigate and report on findings from monthly reporting

Intercompany invoicing and loan schedule preparation

Preparation / review of applicable schedules ancillary to the reports

Ensure all deadlines are met and entries are accurately captured in the general ledger

Load weekly and monthly payments

Preparation of management reporting

Management of account receivable, corrective action and daily reporting

Timely submissions of regulatory compliance for FICA
