Description of role
Reporting for CFCs of US listed client

Detail
• Preparation of Return to Provision Verification packages, this includes
• US GAAP to Statutory Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Statutory to Taxation reconciliation
• Validation of Deferred Taxation balance, and supporting calculations
• Country specific Tax calculation
• Tracking of Operating losses
• VA analysis under US GAAP
• Tax Journals and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Corresponding with finance teams globally to obtain required information and resolve any queries
• Researching and applying country specific tax treatment to ensure tax and deferred tax balances are accurately accounted for
• Preparation, and review of, Yearend Tax provision calculations for US Yearend close under US GAAP
• Assist with various Tax Projects (eg: divestitures, collection of tax data to support US Tax calculation)
• Maintenance of tax information, in OneSource and archiving of Tax documents
• Ongoing support to US Corporate Tax Reporting team
• Adhoc or administrative tasks, as required by the needs of the business

Experience
Essential
• Financial Accounting experience (including journal processing and reconciliations)
• Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Preparation of schedules for Corporate Taxation and Deferred Taxation Schedules
• Preparation of Financial Statements
Advantageous:
• International exposure

Qualifications
Essential
• CA or Accounting degree in Financial Accounting with articles
• Fair understanding of IFRS or another accounting framework
