A growing, dynamic Cape Town-based architectural firm has a vacancy for an Accountant who is eager to grow and become more involved in project costings and management.

Job Description:

* Completion and submission of PAYE/UIF/SDL /COIDA.?Completion and submission of VAT returns.
* Processing, analysing and capturing cashbook, creditors and debtors invoices and producing in management accounts.

Requirements:

* Matric / Grade 12. 
* Relevant tertiary qualification in the accounting field.
* Must have a minimum of 10 years’ bookkeeping experience in processing, analysing and capturing cashbook, creditors and debtors invoices and producing in management accounts.
* Experience in project accounting will be an added advantage.
* Accuracy and a good understanding of reconciliations is essential.
* Knowledge of Xero would be useful.
* Payroll experience essential.
* Must have good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
* Experienced, mature person essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
* A passion for service excellence with ability to maintain high standards of professionalism with clients.
* Must be able to work independently as well as in a team. 
* Detail-oriented, accurate and able to multi-task and adapt with change. 
* Organised, efficient and able to maintain composure under pressure. ?
