Job Description:

Responsible for full accounting function and preparation of monthly accounts up to trial balance (using Pastel).

Preparation of monthly management accounts for review by Financial Manager.

Assistance and guidance to junior accountant - reviewing his / her work and ensuring accuracy of processing.

Assistance with preparation of Annual Financial Statements.

Finalize financial records for annual audit and assist with audit.

Implementation of accounting systems and policies.

Continuously monitoring and flagging system issues and identifying potential improvements to systems.

Prepare VAT 201 reports for SARS submissions.

Assist with compilation of monthly management packs.

Assist with compilation of quarterly Trustee pack to Trustees.

Assist Financial manager with various reporting and analysis needs.
