An individual that will run the day to day duties in the finance department and will be reporting to the Senior Accountant. Be part of a three-man team that works in a great open plan office.


Qualification:

BCom Degree with Articles

National Diploma will be considered

Minimum 3 years’ experience

Partially completed articles will be considered

Experience on automated accounting software (Evolution is advantageous)

Good Computer skills (Microsoft office and Outlook)



Job Description:

Income statement reconciliation for all expense accounts, detailing variances between budget and actuals.

Market updates to all markets analyzing expenses in terms of actuals and budget every month.

Monthly balance sheet reconciliation for all balance sheet accounts.

Daily and monthly cash flow management.

Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets and goodwill.

Monthly Reconcile and agreeing of intercompany balances.

Processing of journals debtors, creditors, cashbooks and stock as required.

Banking, STATS SA reporting together with DTI incentives.

Statutory returns and assistance with tax computations.
