POSITION WILL BE BASED IN MALTA

Job Description:

Bookkeeping and filing of all expenses and invoices paid and received
Process daily payments on company’s online bank account
Main contact with external auditors to assist with audit process and queries
Entry and processing of records into accounting software
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management statements
Management of payroll and personnel leave schedule
Calculate, validate and confirm the daily Net Asset Value of the Investment Fund
Check, file and document broker notes related to the Investment Fund
Communicate with the investment manager with regard to all matters and queries related to the Investment Fund
Enter, confirm and process investment trades of the Investment Fund
Download, edit and calculate fund performance data
Preparation of meeting pack for Quarterly Investment Committee Meeting

Qualifications:

Highly numerate with strong analytical ability and critical reasoning skills
Proficient English speaker with concise writing ability
Demonstrate initiative and the ability to solve problems creatively
Disciplined with good attention to detail
Chartered Accountant (ACCA or ACA qualified) / B.Com Accounting Degree
