Minimum Requirements:

- Three years’ experience in the similar position (in Emergency Medical Services field will be advantageous)

- Finance or Accounting Degree

- Knowledge of Road Accident Fund (RAF) and Medical Claims procedure

- Knowledge of Medical Aid Billing

- Completed Articles of Clerkship

- Computer literate with Advanced Excel Skills and must have working knowledge of Pastel Accounting

Duties:

- Cashbook

- Responsible for Supplier Payments.

- Ensuring that the company is in the correct credit terms with Suppliers.

- All Reconciliations.

- Quotations upon request.

- Collections both via debit orders as well as from customers paying via EFT

- Invoicing

- Monthly Management Accounts Report for review by the Finance Manager.

- Year End Audit Preparation.

- Payroll support to the HR officer.

- Financial Planning

- Annual Budgets

- Accounting for other income; capital depreciation; shareholders’ loans and capital expenditure

- Asset Management

- Accounting for Inventory

- Preparation of VAT / PAYE/ Income tax returns supporting documents for submission to the finance manager

- Cash flow management

- Preparation for BEE audits

- Assist with preparation for ISO audits
