Duties and responsibility
• Post purchase invoices, post monthly accruals in the month closing and issue sales invoices for adjustment purposes when necessary.
• Perform the intra-company reconciliation balances.
• Reconciliation of the suppliers’ balances periodically or when required.
• Maintain the files with hard copy of invoices, contracts and any other related documents.
• Participate in stock taking of trading goods in warehouse.
• Monitor the deviations between trading goods inventory in warehouse toward accounting data.
• Prepare accounting reports for merchandise as per month closing schedule and other relevant needs.
• Investigate any deviation that may arise due to technical problemsuntil final resolution in collaboration with other departments(Sales & IT), to assure the correct view of the financial position and performance data in the systems in regard to trading goods.
• Ensuring the compliance to tax and internal procedures in regard to purchase or selling invoices registered.
• Ensuring the correct reporting in tax ledgers of the invoices registered as per points above and proper reconciliation to accounting ledger.
• Supports and prepare different requests during audit phase.
• Prepare statutory required accounts, notes and reports.
• Provide specialist input through the investigation of opportunities for operational and process optimisation.
• Develop and maintain solid working relationships.
• Any other task relating to abovementioned duties or reasonably ancillary to it.

Job requirements
• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related Field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in PASTEL Partner Accounting and Retail Pro POS System.
• Minimum of 2-3 years industry related experience.
• Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies and procedures that is reflective of the financial services industry.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and ability to work well under pressure.
• Should be available to work overtime if and when required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in group efficiently and accurate attention to details and deadlines.
• Should have a good will attitude with the ability to influence others towards positive results and actions.
• Capable to provide reconciled services.
• Demonstrate teamwork and partnership across multiple different lanes in the company.
