Accounts Payable Clerk, Fourways, R16,000.00 to R18,000.00 Basic Salary + Med Aid, Prov Fund and 13th cheque. Large manufacturing group. Approximately 3 to 5 years Accounts payable experience. Receive invoices from suppliers and transporters for processing on the system. Obtain appropriate allocations for invoices from sundry suppliers and ensure invoices are authorised for payment. Match raw material invoices to GRN's and POD's. Match transporter invoices to transporter system. Obtain creditors statements and prepare the creditors reconciliations to determine the payment. Issue cheques or download EFT payments on online systems. Follow up on outstanding queries relating to invoices that could not be processed for payment. Opening of new vendors and loading new vendors on the system. Matriculated and a tertiary qualification in bookkeeping / accounting will be desirable. Excel - Intermediate to Advanced Level required.
