Accounts Payable Clerk

CAPABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
? Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk
? Written and verbal communications skills, specifically a good command of the English language
? Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
? Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
? Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
? Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and Pastel software
? High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
? Planning and time management skills
? Highly organised and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
? Knowledge of global civil society is desirable but not required
? Deadline driven, with ability to multi-task
? Diploma in Accounting or similar
? Combination of 5 years' work experience in an accounting environment or general office environment where above duties have been part of the job function
