Manage a team of credit controllers responsible for cash collection, cash application, customer liaison and account reconciliation. Ensuring strict compliance with regards to policies and procedures.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position such as:
Control and manage debtors book
Track and actively manage team’s performance, relative to targets set and report on progress
Conduct monthly book reviews with credit controllers and commercial staff
Manage overdue accounts, accounts over credit limits, potential bad debts and ensure appropriate action plans are put in place and followed up
Drive timeous dispute resolution
Customer support role :- maintain business relationships with both external and internal customers
Customer visits, availability to travel nationally essential
Compile reports for submission to the Country Credit Manager
Manage, motivate and develop staff
After hours availability to the business as and when required
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 (matric) plus Credit Management level III.
A minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Receivable/Credit Control/Customer Support environment of which at least 2 years in a supervisory position
SAP Essential
