Candidate with B.Comm Honors, CA qualification or CFP and sound Financial Services experience at a junior level within the corporate environment, preferably within a Sales and Distribution environment, required to start asap.

This is a junior management role within the Distribution department of this Independent Financial Service Provider and you will be responsible for support as well as take accountability for the sourcing, recruitment and selection of new FA’s as well as small and large corporate/brokerages aligned with this employer’s brand and culture

Minimum requirements:
• Business qualification – B.Comm Honours, CA or CFP
• Sound Financial Services Industry experience at junior management level within a corporate environment
• Sales and Distribution environment exposure preferred
• Management and leadership experience advantageous
• Financial Services Product knowledge required
• Financial instruments, indicators and market knowledge required
• Market and client segmentation knowledge
• Strategy/Business planning skills required
• Financial management, expense and budget management experience required
• Risk management experience
• Regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge
• Financial Planning knowledge required
• Sales and marketing principles
• Performance management and coaching experience
• Computer literate – MS Office, MIS Program and reports, CRM system, Financial advice tools

Responsibilities:
• Support to National Head: Acquisitions and Appointments
• Undertake focused recruitment of Advisors aligned to business needs
• Undertake effective screening and selection of Advisors
• On-board the new recruits
• Leadership and People Management – Leadership, Recruitment & Selection, Transformation, Talent
• Accountable for the ongoing focussed sourcing, recruitment and selection of new suitably profiled FA’s, small and large corporate aligned with the company’s brand and culture
• Research and resource new potential FA’s/Corporate in the market
• Networking and relationship building
• Approach FA’s/Corporate and assist with presentations (Value Propositions)
• Facilitate the contract initiation – due diligence checks and business valuations
• Monitor and track success and profitability to new FA’s/Corporate
