ACTUARIAL ANALYST (EE candidates only) – Jhb CBD, Gauteng
The ideal candidate will be expected to:
• Develop, maintain and control pricing structures ensuring that key underwriting / financial metrics are achieved
• Apply the control cycle for all pricing actuarial work: collect and analyse, build models, implement, monitor, refine
• Build models to profit test new products as well as changes to existing products
• Monitor trends and advise business accordingly
• Develop business cases for new business ventures
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Ideal Candidates:
• Should have an actuarial degree, and making progress towards an actuarial qualification
• Possess at least 2 – 4 years relevant experience
• Have Excellent knowledge of data manipulation and statistical techniques (especially GLMs)
• Have Knowledge of programmes such as: Experience in an insurance, specifically short-term, environment will be an advantage
Salary is dependent on experience
