One of the leading Financial Institutions is seeking an accomplished actuary. With exceptional exposure and career progression, some of the duties of the successful candidate will include: Liability valuation and CAR calculations; Take responsibility for the ongoing valuations and CAR calculations (including SAM) for a portfolio of clients covering a wide range of individual and group life insurance products, Acquire a good understanding of the cell captive environment and life insurance products, i.e. risk (group and individual) and selected investment products, Manipulate policy data required for valuation purpose. System development: Develop and maintain Prophet valuation workspaces for existing products as well as new client products, Enhance current Prophet workspaces to enable the valuation of SAM technical provisions, the calculation of relevant SAM SCR elements and the upcoming IFRS 4 Phase II, Together with the actuarial team develop data analysis tools for valuation and experience investigation purposes, redevelop the actuarial reporting tools and templates to optimize valuation efficiency, improve analysis of surplus capabilities and meet SAM reporting needs.
