REQUIREMENTS:
• Actuarial degree (with good pass rates)
• 7. 5 to 8 year’s industry experience
• Good progress through the ASSA actuarial exams (preference of candidates who have completed the foundation and intermediate technical levels and have started or completed the core principle level exams, or started and completed the associateship level skills), or who has qualified as an actuary
• Have practical work-related experience in the implementation of life insurance related software development projects
• Certified senior technical business analyst or certified senior technical business architect or product owner, or with practical work-related experience in life insurance and /or the implementation of life insurance related software development projects
• Must be able to interact and work closely with senior client business representatives and business analysts and technical architects where applicable
• Must be able to gather information and analyse new business requirements
• Understand the business requirements of the customers and translate them to specific software requirements
• Raise business requirements in terms of new product capabilities and modernisation of legacy build
• Understand the technical implementation and processes
• Must configure and test the configurations of the life insurance system functionalities in a way that meets the client’s requirements, as defined in the agreed design and other specifications
• Be able to work independently, but also be able to constructively and effectively contribute
• within the internal project teams, the business architect team and other technical software forums that all follow Agile principles
• Provide guidance to system behaviour and create test scenarios
• Be familiar with all testing levels (unit, integration, system, vulnerability, UAT, regression testing)
